Shehbaz Badesha: ‘Doing Bigg Boss 100% to Push Myself’ – Exclusive NewsX Interview
In an interview with NewsX, Shehbaz Badesha revealed his experience and his awaited entry into the Bigg Boss house. A familiar face to the audience of the show, he had earlier made an appearance on the show as one of the support systems to his sister, Shehnaaz Gill, during her stint on Bigg Boss 13.This time around, however, he is set to make an appearance as a full-fledged participant, and he is not holding fires.
When asked about Shehbaz, your sister Shehnaaz Gill who became a household name after being a part of Bigg Boss 13, did she advise you on how to go ahead in the game? Shehbaz tells her that he did not bring any tips with him and adds that he is not using any advice from his famous sister. Wanting to be real, that means I will win so that I can be real.”
Shehbaz said that his first experience in the house was like both, a positive and negative experience. He told me that he has shown that he has what it takes to be a contestant someday and now that he has been given a chance, he is ready.
The main advantage Shehbaz has when confronted with a hostile environment is that he turns obstinate. When I have to convince myself then I am trapped. I do not listen to anybody, he replied, meaning that he will stand his own ground in confrontation.
Shehbaz feels that reality shows can actually become a massive catapult to the career. When questioned whether he believes he will get a similar career high as his sister, Shehnaaz, he said, “I am doing Bigg Boss 100 per cent as a way of pushing myself.” This puts an emphasis on his career goals and wanting to make use of the platform to advance himself in the entertainment industry.
He also talked about an incident in a previous season, which he said was a viral/controversial moment that he cannot forget, and people always remind him about when his bigg boss did not wear a mic.
