Ajay Devgn, the renowned Bollywood superstar, is gearing up to produce an action-packed, period movie mix creature film for Netflix India with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mohit Raina, scheduled to direct it under the first-time narrative of Neha Sharma. Strategic Transfer to Production by Ajay Devgn

After being approached for a parallel lead with Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ajay Devgn declined to act as he stressed more theatrical releases over OTT. The original exciting premise of the script, however, prompted him to back it under his own Devgn Films banner.

This is his second Netflix production after Tribhanga: Tedhi Medhi Crazy, showcasing his knack for spotting compelling stories. As Devgn is coming in his producer element, he is is going to shape the film with a news vision, an amalgamation of his acting experience and the growing production skills,

Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Daring New Exploration

Siddhant Chaturvedi, best known for Gully Boy and Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan, is going to be the lead actor.  With a backdrop of 1945, Chaturvedi steps into an arena exploring narrative-building in genre-bending, which is based on a real event. Chaturvedi will not be relying solely on his character from Dhadak 2, given that the film had disappointing performance on the box office front. 

This digital release could well turn the corner for Chaturvedi to connect with audiences on an entirely different story, the unconventional one. The combination of action and creature against the backdrop of history will provide Chaturvedi an opportunity to showcase his versatility and, possibly, reorient his career path.

Star Power and Ambitious Vision

This film will be directed by Neha Sharma, known for The Zoya Factor, marking her directorial debut. While Mohit Raina is going to fill in the role which was earlier offered to Devgn. Post-production is estimated to commence in October 2025.

One of the aspects of this project involves delivering a truly visually spectacular experience while combining historical realism and thrilling creature encounters.
