Itel Icon 2 is set to make its debut in India shortly, as the company has been teasing the smartwatch’s arrival over the past few days. While the teasers have hinted at its design and confirmed the presence of a functional crown, a recent report sheds light on some key features of the anticipated wearable. Expected to build upon the success of its predecessor, the Itel Icon 2 is anticipated to offer upgraded functionalities over the older model, which was introduced in August 2023.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, the Itel Icon 2 will boast a display with 550 nits of brightness, enhancing visibility even under bright sunlight. The smartwatch is rumored to pack several premium features, hinting at an imminent launch.

Teasers shared by Itel on Instagram have confirmed the presence of a functional crown on the Itel Icon 2. This crown is expected to facilitate navigation across various apps and features on the smartwatch. The design teased by the company showcases a rectangular body with a glossy finish, with the crown situated on the right edge.

The Itel Icon, introduced as a budget-friendly offering, is currently available in India at Rs. 2,095. It is speculated that the upcoming Itel Icon 2 will maintain a similar price range, positioning itself as an affordable choice in the smartwatch segment.

The existing Itel Icon features a 1.38-inch IPS display with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels and 550 nits of brightness. It offers support for over 100 watch faces and comes equipped with more than 100 pre-installed sports modes. Additionally, the smartwatch supports Bluetooth calling via Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and features heart rate, blood oxygen level, and sleep trackers. With an IP68 rating for dust and splash resistance, the Itel Icon is powered by a 250mAh battery.
