Ghulam Nabi Azad has announced his resignation from all offices and primary membership in the Congress.

Former Union minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, a Congress veteran, resigned today, accusing Rahul Gandhi of “immaturity” and “demolish[ing] the consultative mechanism” in the party. In an explosive letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister announced his resignation from all offices and main membership in the party.
