Gujarat: 2 paramilitary jawans killed in firing by colleague

In an unfortunate turn of events, two Indian Reserve Batallion (IRB) troops were murdered and two more were injured in Porbandar when a colleague opened fire. The shooting came after an outcry among the armed forces’ officials when they were on election duty.
According to Gujarat Police, the culprit is S Inauchashingh, and he was a Constable with the IRB. These soldiers are from a CRPF battalion in Manipur.
According to Gujarat Police, the culprit opened fire on other police officers with “his Rifle AK-47.”
After a battle between IRB jawans at Navi Bunder in Porbandar, the injured were transported to Bhavsinghji Hospital for immediate medical assistance. In the excitement of battle, the troops opened fire on their own colleagues.
