Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is gaining momentum in Jammu and Kashmir

The Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, and Army all participated in the campaign by raising the National flag at their respective posts and office buildings.

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, is a big success in Jammu and Kashmir, with a large number of people participating in the celebrations to mark India’s 75th anniversary of independence.

Civilians, politicians and soldiers are campaigning together to show patriotism towards country.
Lateef Ahmad, Ward 4 councillor in Kupwara, raised the National Flag at his residence to mark the occasion.

Counting to success story of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, students in Pulwama are actively participating in essay, painting, and singing competitions, are also taking part in Tiranga rallies in all educational institutions in the district.

People in Anantnag district have also begun hoisting the tricolour on their rooftops as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. “The locals are very happy and in a good mood for this campaign,” a local resident said.

“Under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, from the 13th to the 15th of August, a special movement – ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is being organized. Let us further this movement by hoisting the National Flag at our homes,” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday during monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat.’
