A detachment of Indian Air Force (IAF) has arrived in Australia to take part in the 17-nation exercise "Pitch Black 2022," which began on Friday in Darwin, Australia.

Royal Australian Air Force is hosting the three-week exercise, a biannual international exercise.
Indian Air Force on Thursday posted photos showing a French Air Force plane refueling one of its Sukhoi-30MKI fighter fighters in midair.
Over 100 airmen are part of this IAF contingent, which is headed by Group Captain YPS Negi, and they are flying four Sukhoi-30MKI fighters.
They will engage in complicated multi-domain air combat missions while exchanging best practices with participants.
It includes a variety of simulations of genuine hazards that one would encounter in a contemporary warfare setting.
