The search for a missing teenage girl who disappeared during the Ram Navami celebrations has ended with her mother being taken into custody. Police investigators discovered a disturbing scheme that involved killing people to obtain a “supernatural” solution.

The case presents a frightening situation that combines people who are desperately needing help with spiritual con artists who take advantage of their weaknesses.

Ritualistic Deception and Occult Influence

The investigation into this tragedy reveals a calculated ritual sacrifice that local occultists conducted as part of their ceremonial practices. The mother of the boy who suffered from both mental and physical disabilities believed that her son required a miraculous treatment.

The self-proclaimed ‘tantrik’ told her that only the life of a virgin girl could restore the boy’s health. The victim, following her belief in standard prayer at the temple, was lured there by the attacker during the village celebrations, which took place on March 24.

She underwent ritualistic preparations, which included her receiving symbolic markings before being taken to a hidden area between bamboo trees. The “cure” turned into a violent act when the mother helped an accomplice with the deadly attack, which led to her son’s death.

The police investigation used forensic evidence and technical surveillance to prove that the mother who filed a false report of abduction and sexual assault had created a false story throughout the case.

The Special Investigation Team found major differences between the mother’s statements and the results of the post-mortem examination that top district officials had conducted.

The lack of evidence for the alleged sexual assault shifted the focus back to the household, which resulted in the confession and subsequent arrest of the three suspects.
