Session Extensions Suraj Sarkar was granted interim bail by Judge Gagandeep Singh of the Rohini District Court until June 18, 2022. The court has ordered him to post a bail of of Rs. 50,000, as well as one surety bond of the same amount. The court further ordered the defendants not to leave Delhi without first informing the Investigation Officer (IO).
He must disclose all of his phone numbers as well as his current location. According to the June 1 ruling, he will be required to appear before the IO on alternate days.
On behalf of the accused, an application for interim bail to appear in the Bachelor of Arts IV Semester examination was filed (BA).
The accused’s attorney stated in court that the accused is a student in the BA Program, and that his exams will be held from June 3 to June 28,2022.
The counsel also stated that the accused’s parents had obtained the examination hall ticket to sit in the examination at Satyavati college centre. His future will be ruined if he is not allowed interim bail to come for examination.
Despite the fact that the prosecution validated the reality of the examination and the hall ticket received by the parents, the application was denied on the grounds that the accused is involved in a major rioting offence. If he is released on bond, he may depart the country.
The court granted interim bail to the accused after reviewing all the facts and circumstances and imposing various restrictions, including that he appear in the examination.
The lawsuit stems from violent fights between two groups during a Hanuman Jayanti parade in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri on April 16, which left nine persons hurt, including eight police officers and a civilian.
