Delhi Police arrested two persons in the Jahangirpuri area for reportedly pelting stones at automobiles, causing damage to their windows.

On Tuesday, the Mahendra Park police station received a report of squabbling and stone-pelting. Three vehicles’ windshields were shattered during the incident.
Police combed through CCTV footage from the area where people were throwing stones.

“Zahir and his mates arrived in search of two boys who had been involved in a fight two days prior. They were said to be inebriated. They allegedly flung stones, shattering the windows of three vehicles” Usha Rangnani, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), North West.

The DCP was added “Vishal and Veeru, two residents of Janahgirpuri, have been detained. The other suspects will be apprehended soon. The conflict has no communal overtones because both parties are members of the same community. There were no injuries as a result of the incident.”
