A cosmic number of people are trying their luck in the glamour world, and with the inception of social media, this demand has surged even more. While many of you want to be models, there are certain things that you should know. How about getting advice from someone experienced like Jaspal Singh Sehgal? The milestones that this talented man has achieved as a model are truly laudable.
It was in the year 2002 when he stepped into the industry and became the first runner-up in the Grasim Mr. India contest. Since then, he has been breathing in the realm of modelling, doing acting projects, and walking ramps. Passing his piece of advice to budding models, Jaspal Singh Sehgal says, “If you think that the spotlight of the glamour world has no struggle, then you got it all wrong. There’s no field or arena that doesn’t demand hard work. Thus, keep your spirit high and don’t fear the grinding process.”
Jaspal Singh Sehgal then said that a model should always keep up with fashion trends and keep learning from others. “Every day brings a new trend, and as a model, it’s advisable for you to keep an eye on changing trends and follow them with your own style. Moreover, you will meet many people and other models on your journey. Try to learn from them and their experience. It will broaden your knowledge.”
Modelling is often reduced to outer appearances, whereas Jaspal Sehgal says, “Develop a persona and be good at heart. Your inner self will always reflect and boost your outer self.”
Adding further, he said, “Be passionate and dedicated about your dreams. Numerous people wish to be models, so you must stand out from them. I believe that enthusiasm toward your passion can take you to places across the globe.”

Jaspal Singh Sehgal has also won Mr. Tourism International 2003-04 and was declared the Best Dressed Model for wearing the best national costume. He was seen in TV shows like Maharaja Ranjit Singh, 21 Sarghari, and Bade Acche Lagte Hai. Recently, the model walked the ramp at Lakmé Fashion Week.
