After a fight in the Jharkhand district of Garhwa, a young man was reportedly set fire by another guy who poured gasoline on him, according to police on Friday.

After a fight in the Jharkhand district of Garhwa, a young man was reportedly set fire by another guy who poured gasoline on him, according to police on Friday.

A juvenile called Kasamuddin from the same village set a young man named Deepak Soni, a native of Chitvishram village in the Shri Banshidhar subdivision of Garhwa district, on fire.

The teenager was severely burned in the event, which took place at approximately 7 o’clock in the evening.

The young person’s family and some other young people transported him to a neighbourhood hospital. The physicians then recommended Sadar Hospital to him for better care.

A cousin of the victim stated that “He (Deepak Soni) informed me that a guy named Kasamuddin splashed gasoline on him and lit him on fire.”

Rajesh Kumar, Inspector, Nagar Untari Police Station, Garhwa, gave details about the event, saying, “Information concerning lighting a teenager fire by pouring fuel on him following a struggle has come to light. An inquiry is being done and the hunt for the culprit is underway.”
