Terrorists shot and killed a woman in the Chadoora area of Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district on Wednesday
Terrorists shot and killed a woman in the Chadoora area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday. The police however stated that the incident left her minor nephew injured.
Police further stated that three terrorists from the banned terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) carried out the attack.
Amreen Bhat, a television personality, was identified as the deceased.
According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, “Terrorists opened fire at Amreen Bhat’s home in Chadoora, Budgam. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her 10-year-old nephew was also hit by a gunshot in the arm.”
A perimeter has been established, and searches have commenced. A case has been filed, and an investigation is ongoing.
This happened a day later when the terrorists attacked a policeman and his 7-year-old daughter outside their home in Srinagar, killing him and injuring his daughter.
