Delhi Police on Wednesday detained three juvenile males suspected of stabbing someone in North East Delhi.

According to the Delhi Police, “Sonu alias Taajudin was seated in his clinic at A-156 Jhuggi Daya Basti in North-East Delhi on Monday about 6:00 a.m., where a young child came to trade his cell phone for Rs 500. Following the victim’s rejection, the youngster and his two friends (all minors) stabbed Sonu’s critical organs and fled.”

In reaction to the incident, Delhi Police filed a FIR at Sarai Rohilla Police Station on Tuesday under provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the juvenile males and initiated an investigation.

During the inquiry, a team from Sarai Rohilla Police Station used informants and combed through CCTV material. The primary accused was eventually identified through several sources, and the team caught the minor. His two minor friends were also detained following his exposure.

Meanwhile, the victim is no longer in danger, according to the police.

One knife was found from their possession by police. All three minors have been placed in a juvenile home.

The police are investigating the incident.
