Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take into account putting the likenesses of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi on Indian banknotes
Chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take into account putting the likenesses of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi on Indian banknotes in order to “better the economic status of the country.”
Kejriwal in a press conference stated “I make a plea to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the federal government today. Gandhi Ji’s picture should be on Indian money, while Shri Ganesh Ji and Lakshmi Ji’s picture should be on the other side. “
He further said “We must work very hard to improve our nation’s economic position. We also need the blessings of the Gods and Goddesses to go along with it. If there is a picture of Gandhi Ji on one side of bank notes and Ganesh Ji and Lakshmi Ji on the other, the entire nation would be blessed.”
“We can accomplish it if Indonesia can; just select Ganesh Ji. I will write to the centre tomorrow or the day after tomorrow to request it because, in addition to our efforts to improve the nation’s economic situation, we also need the blessings of God “added Kejriwal.
