Vishal A. Singh, a Twitter user, claims to have filed the narrative of Jug Jugg Jeeyo for 2020.

Karan Johar created a lot of buzz for Jug Jugg Jeeyo by frequently sharing updates on the film’s progress, which piqued everyone’s interest. The trailer for the much-anticipated film was released yesterday to a positive response from the public. However, following the launch, a social media user chastised the filmmakers for copying his story, which he had submitted to Dharma Productions in 2020. A Pakistani singer, on the other hand, claimed that his song was being used without his permission.

Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor star alongside Manish Paul, Prajakta Koli, and Tisca Chopra in the upcoming family drama directed by Raj Mehta. On June 24, 2022, the film will be released.

Accusing Jug Jugg Jeeyo makers of plagiarism, Vishal A. Singh wrote, “Had registered a story.. #BunnyRani with @swaindiaorg in January 2020. I had officially mailed @DharmaMovies in February 2020 for an opportunity to co-produce with them. I even got a reply from them. And they have taken my story.. and made #JugJuggJeeyo. Not fair @karanjohar.”

Pakistani musician Abrar Ul Haq, on the other hand, has vowed to sue the makers of Jug Jugg Jeeyo for exploiting his song in the trailer. “I have not sold my song “Nach Punjaban” to any Indian movie and reserve the right to go to court to claim damages,” he stated on Twitter. Copy tunes should not be used by producers like @karanjohar. This is the sixth time my song has been duplicated, and it will not be tolerated.”
