Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ released on August 11 has been stuck in controversies ever since it was announced. Trollers bashing hashtags like Boycott ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ has been trending fropm few days. His fans have started the trend Hashtag Better than the original to support ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’.

According to reports, the hashtag “boycott” became popular after some people on the Internet found quotes from Aamir’s 2015 interview in which he discussed the “growing intolerance” in the nation. Aamir had remarked during an occasion, “As an individual, as part of this country as a citizen, we read in the papers what is happening, we see it on the news and certainly, I have been alarmed. I can’t deny. I have been alarmed by a number of incidents”.

Later, Aamir had stated that his comments had been misinterpreted and that he hadn’t meant to hurt anyone.

Aamir Khan was also address as anti-nationalist for a comment his ex-wife Kiran Rao made on the issue of intolerance back in 2015.

Aamir Khan has habit of facing controversies. Controversy over ‘PK’, Aamir’s meeting with Turkish First Lady ‘Dangal’, and Secret Superstar’s success in China have always been in the news. But still, Aamir Khan’s movies make a big splash at the box office.
