The Central Board of Secondary Education has dismissed reports suggesting delays or technical glitches in the evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets. Officials said the digital on-screen marking system is functioning smoothly.

The board added that the evaluation process is progressing as per schedule, with no disruption in workflow. CBSE is continuing to follow its planned academic timeline.

The Class 12 Result 2026 is expected to be declared in May, following the completion of examinations conducted earlier this year.

The CBSE Class 12 marksheet won’t contain the overall pass percentage or division of a student.

Rather than overall pass percentage or division in the CBSE Class 12 marksheet, the detailed subject-wise breakdown of marks will be shown.

The parents and students will be able to see separate scores in theory and practice for each subject.

Candidates would have to acquire at least 33 per cent marks to pass the CBSE Class 12 exams. They should also achieve the minimum qualifying marks in theory and practice for each subject separately. Both these criteria must be fulfilled to pass the exam.

The CBSE board has not given any official date and time for class 12 results. However, it is expected to be out soon. Students are advised to keep a regular check on the official websites for regular updates.

In previous years the CBSE results were declared on May 13 in 2025 and 2024 as well. Before that, in 2023, the results were announced on 12th May.

If a student fails in one or two subjects, then they will have the option of appearing in the compartmental examination.

However, if a student fails more than two subjects, then they will have to reappear in the next year’s examination.

The CBSE Class 12 exams were conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026. All the examinations were held in a single shift.

The Central Board of Secondary Education Class 12 results for 2026 will be announced online. As per recent confirmation, the results are expected to be declared in May 2026.

Students will be able to check their scores on the official website, cbse.gov.in. Updates regarding the exact date and time of the result announcement will also be shared there.

Students can download the CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 in the online mode. They can also check the score sheet of cbse.gov.in on the official website. For downloading the result, students have to enter the following data:

• Date of birth
• Admit card ID
• School number

This information needs to be entered in the accurate mode, as in the admit card, so that the mark sheet can be evaluated and downloaded.

The Class 12 result digital copy will be available in DigiLocker from the Central Board of Secondary Education. Students can follow the below steps to download their marks.

• Visit official DigiLocker website
• Click on the CBSE Class XII Result 2026 link.
• Enter the roll number and other details given on the admit card.
• The mark sheet will be displayed on the screen.

Students can download it for future uses. This e-marksheet from DigiLocker is digitally verified, and you can use it for admission and other official matters.

The Class 12 Result 2026 will be declared in the third week of May, according to the Central Board of Secondary Education, which has dismissed the news of any evaluation delay.
