In Gondia, Maharashtra, 3 coaches of the train derailed. In this accident, more than 50 passengers have been injured. According to the information we have so far indicates that this event occurred at 2:30 pm. It is said that the passenger train and the good train collided. This accident happened due to non-receipt of signal.
As of now no death has been reported. The train was travelling from Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh to Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
According to the information received from the railways, this accident happened due to the arrival of two trains on the same track. The Bilaspur-Bhagat Kothi Express train departed for the front after receiving the green signal. On the same track, a goods train was also travelling in the direction of Nagpur.
The express train hit the goods train because there was an improper signal at the railway gate close to Gondia City. A total of 53 passengers have been injured. Out of which 13 people have minor injuries.
