Manish Sisodia, deputy chief minister of Delhi, blasted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday for CBI's Lookout Circular (LOC) against him, calling it a "gimmick."

Manish Sisodia, deputy chief minister of Delhi, blasted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday for CBI’s Lookout Circular (LOC) against him, calling it a “gimmick.”

Sisodia tweeted a Hindi assault on PM Modi stating, “You have ordered several raids, but none of them have been successful, and not a single penny has been stolen. What is the purpose of your recent Look Out Circular warning that Manish Sisodia is missing, Modi Ji? Tell me where I should go; I’m freely wandering throughout Delhi.”

By issuing a Look out Circular in their names, Central Bureau of Investigation has prohibited Manish Sisodia and 12 other individuals from travelling because they are suspected of participating in the Delhi Excise Policy Scam.

The authorities utilise Look out Circular, which CBI issued against all of the accused, to determine if a person travelling overseas is “wanted” by the police or another agency. At international crossings, it might be utilised in immigration inspections.

The purpose of the LOC is to prevent someone who is fleeing or on the wanted list from leaving the country. The immigration branch at international airports and seaports mostly uses it at immigration checkpoints.

When the CBI conducted a raid in Delhi at 31 sites, spanning seven states, two of the accused were not located. As a result, agency initiated a LOC against the 13 accused with immediate effect.
