Punjab: PM Modi visits Radha Soami Satsang, meets with dera chief

PM Narendra Modi met with Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon at the Radha Soami Satsang Beas Dera in Punjab on Saturday.

The prime minister was welcomed by Brahm Shankar Jimpa, a member of the Punjab Cabinet. DGP Gaurav Yadav and Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar Janjua were also present.

Prior to the Punjab assembly elections in February, PM Modi met with the dera chairman in Delhi.

Friday morning, PM Modi tweeted, “I shall have the honour of visiting the Radha Soami Satsang Beas tomorrow, November 5. The RSSB is leading several community service initiatives under the direction of Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon Ji.”

PM Modi will also be in election-bound Himachal Pradesh later in the day when he will speak at rallies at Sundar Nagar and Solan.

“Tomorrow, November 5, I’ll be in Himachal Pradesh, which I’m looking forward to. In Sundar Nagar and Solan, I would be speaking at rallies. Himachal Pradesh elections are set to take place on November 12.
