Vasant Vihar shocker: Mother along with her two daughters found dead

Delhi Police has discovered three dead in a flat in Vasant Vihar on Saturday and believe it was a suicide.

According to the police, the flat was locked from the inside, and when they entered, they discovered the gas cylinder ‘partially opened,’ as well as a suicide note.

As per the housekeeper Kamla, the family of Manju (mother), Anshika, and Anku (daughters) has been depressed since April 2021 as a result of the death of the house owner (their father) due to corona. She alsoquoted that Manju has been sick.

M. David, the society’s president stated that the family had built a “smoke chamber” in the house with “angithi” and that the remains had been seized by the police.

In a statement Delhi Police officials stated that “After receiving the information, police officers and the SHO arrived at Vasant Apartment in Vasant Vihar and discovered the doors and windows closed from all sides. Three dead bodies were discovered on the bed and three little ‘angithis’ were kept in the inner chamber when it was checked. They are thought to have died of suffocation.”

Delhi Police is further investigating on this case to find out the cause of death.
