In the latest development, several BJP leaders including senior BJP leader, Suvendhu Adhikari & Locket Chatterjee have been detained by the West Bengal police during the protest.
BJP, yesterday, alleged that West Bengal Police is behaving like “TMC cadres” in the state and that the party will not take permission to hold its Nabanna march scheduled for November 13.
West Bengal BJP President S Majumdar said, “Why would the public take permission from thieves to hold demonstrations?” He further added, “Police behaving like TMC cadres. We did the Nabanna march last time when Section 144 was imposed. We’ll do it again. It’s our fight to save Bengal.”
Bengal’s BJP unit is holding Nabanna Chalo (State secretariat) campaign against CBI and ED raids on TMC leaders in the state.
