The overall COVID-19 immunisation coverage in India is 220.05 crores. So far, the Nationwide Vaccination Drive has provided 95.12 crore second doses and 22.36 crore precaution doses. In the previous 24 hours, India gave 1,11,304 dosages.

India’s active caseload is at 3,424, accounting for 0.01 percent of total cases.

According to the Health Ministry, the national COVID-19 recovery rate was 98.8 percent.

198 people on Sunday have recovered in the previous 24 hours, bringing the overall number of recovered patients (from the start of the pandemic) to 4,41,42,989.

The daily positivity rate was 0.18 percent, with a weekly positivity rate of 0.14 percent.

In the previous 24 hours, 1,29,159 COVID-19 tests were performed. According to authorities, India has done over 90.99 crore cumulative tests.

Meanwhile, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Saturday that simulated exercises will be held at all health institutions across the nation on December 27 in response to the COVID alert owing to an increase in infection in several countries.
