“Nobody should question Gyanvapi findings, it’s a proven fact”: Uma Bharti on NewsX

NewsX speaks directly with BJP leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti about the Supreme Court’s decision to transfer the Gyanvapi Mosque matter to the District Court of Varanasi.

Uma Bharti stated “I have complete faith in our judicial system. My faith in Kashi will stay unchanged regardless of the court’s verdict.”

“Gyanvapi structure is absolutely different from what Ayodhya was because all the evidence in Ayodhya were concealed, but in Gyanvapi everything is open and apparent,” Bharti said when questioned about the discovery of Gyanvapi.

She goes on to explain that no one should question or disbelieve the findings.

According to Uma Bharti, “Nothing stands in the way of the 1991 places of worship act since the acts are for people to have a healthy existence. This deed, however, should not be held against the temple in Gyanvapi, as evidenced by the facts already cited.”

She further responds to the opposition’s remark by saying that if the opposition stops playing vote-bank tactics, the issue might be resolved peacefully between the two communities.

India, according to Uma Bharti, does not have a strong opposition. She claims that the opposition exists solely through the media and that if they have an issue, they should confront the administration on the ground.

Uma Bharti was opposed to the Places of Worship (Special Provision) Bill, which intended to prevent conversion of any place of worship and provide for the preservation of any place of worship’s religious character as it was on August 15, 1947.
