Prior to the third and final ODI against England on Saturday, former India captain Virat Kohli tweeted a one-word cryptic message. Kohli is now going through a difficult time in his career.
Kohli posted a picture on Twitter with the caption, “What if I fall… Oh but my dear, what if you fly?” The India star is seen posing in front of a piece of art that has two wings.
His description for the photo was only one word: “Perspective.”
It has been discussed in the community how long Kohli has gone without an international century. Virat Kohli, the captain of India’s current tour of England, could only manage scores of 11 and 20 against Edgbaston in the fifth and final Test. He also continued his poor record in T20Is, scoring only 12 runs in two innings.
Additionally, Kohli had a below-average IPL 2022, in which he was only able to score 341 runs in 16 games with a strike rate of 115.98 and an average of 22.73. Only two half-centuries from him were possible during the competition.
This year, Kohli has struggled in Blue as well, making just 158 runs in six ODI innings with two fifties and 81 runs in four T20I innings with 150.
