Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a number of development projects in Gujarat today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Gujarat’s progress on Friday, calling the state’s tremendous development in the last two decades its “pride”.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a number of development projects in Gujarat totaling Rs 3,050 crores today.
According to PM Modi, the administration has prioritized the poor’s upliftment during the last eight years.
“Our government has placed the uttermost emphasis on the welfare of the poor, on giving basic services to the poor, in the last eight years, following the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,” he continued.
PM Modi attended the ‘Gujarat Gaurav Abhiyan’ in Navsari today during his visit to Gujarat.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, these projects would assist improve the region’s water supply while also increasing connections and making life easier.
He will open the AM Naik Healthcare Complex and Nirali Multi-Specialty Hospital in Navsari later that day.
Modi will further launch the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) headquarters in Bopal, Ahmedabad, on Friday to promote privatization in the space industry.
IN-SPACe will be the nodal organization for allowing non-government private enterprises to use Department of Space-owned facilities and ensuring their engagement in the space industry. As approved by the Union Cabinet in June 2020, it would be a single-window nodal body that will permit and monitor space activities such as the development of launch vehicles and satellites.
