PM Modi to take part in today’s I2U2 meet virtually

The coalition’s leaders are anticipated to talk about collaborative economic initiatives to strengthen economic cooperation.
The global food and energy crisis brought on by the conflict in Ukraine is set to take centre stage in the negotiations.
Around 4 pm, the virtual summit is anticipated to start.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) reported on Tuesday that the leaders would discuss potential cooperative initiatives within the “I2U2” framework as well as other areas of shared interest to expand the economic partnership in trade and investment in our respective regions and beyond.
The I2U2 coalition was conceived during the meeting of the four nations’ foreign ministers on October 18, 2016.
In the recent few years, India’s bilateral strategic ties with each of the three nations have improved.
