The administration has prioritised growing the rural economy and increasing the productivity of agriculture and related sectors. On July 28th, the Prime Minister will visit Sabar Dairy and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for numerous projects totaling more than Rs. 1,000 crores. These projects will enhance the revenue of local farmers and milk producers. This will also help the rural economy in the region.
The Prime Minister will dedicate the Powder Plant at Sabar Dairy, which has a capacity of around 120 metric tonnes per day (MTPD). The total cost of the project exceeds Rs. 300 crores.
The plant’s layout complies with worldwide food safety regulations. It is extremely energy efficient and emits nearly no emissions. The factory is outfitted with a cutting-edge, fully automated bulk packaging line.

The project will contribute to greater milk producer payment.
In addition, the Prime Minister will lay the groundwork for the Sabar Cheese and Whey Drying Plant Project. The project’s anticipated cost is roughly Rs 600 crores. Cheddar Cheese (20 MTPD), Mozzarella Cheese (10 MTPD), and Processed Cheese will be produced at the plant (16 MTPD). Sabar Dairy is a member of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which produces and sells milk and milk products under the Amul brand.
The Prime Minister will visit GIFT City in Gandhinagar on July 29. GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City) was envisioned as a global integrated centre for financial and technological services.
The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), India’s single regulator for the development and regulation of financial products, financial services, and financial institutions in International Financial Services Centres (IFSCs).
The edifice was designed to be an iconic symbol of GIFT-expanding IFSC’s significance and reputation as a major International Financial Centre.
India International Bullion Exchange (IIBX), India’s first International Bullion Exchange at GIFT-IFSC, will be launched by the Prime Minister. IIBX also reaffirms the Government of India’s commitment to enable India to influence global bullion pricing as a primary consumer.
The Prime Minister will also unveil the NSE IFSC-SGX Connect. It is a collaboration between the National Stock Exchange’s subsidiary in the GIFT International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) and Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX).
All orders on NIFTY futures made by Singapore Exchange members will be routed to and matched on the NSE-IFSC order matching and trading platform under Connect. Broker-Dealers from India and other foreign countries are expected to trade derivatives over the Connect in considerable numbers. It will increase liquidity in GIFT-IFSC derivative markets, attracting more foreign participants and having a favourable influence on the GIFT-IFSC financial ecosystem.
