Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, tied knot with Dr. Gurpreet Kaur today in a traditional ‘Anand Karaj’ Sikh wedding ceremony.

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, and Raghav Chaddha, a member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), were among the guests at the low-key, private wedding. Though little information of the CM’s private wedding were made public, Raghav Chadha uploaded a photo of Mann entering the festivities while wearing a golden groom’s outfit and a “Phulkari” dupatta.

He also posted a photo of himself and Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, escorting the Punjab chief minister to Maan’s Chandigarh mansion, the location of the wedding.

Another image shows the bride and groom, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, standing side by side during the ceremony with their hands clasped with the other guests in the front. Raghav captioned it, “Waheguru Ji Apne Bacche Utte Aashirwad Banaye Rakheo.”

For her wedding, Gurpreet wore a vivid crimson lehenga. Heavy gold jewellery, including bangles, a necklace, and maang tika, completed her ensemble.

The greatest of Indian and Italian cuisine, including Karahi Paneer, Tandoori Kulche, Dal Makhani, Navratan Biryani, Mausami Subzian, Apricot Stuffed Kofta, Lasagna Siciliano, and Burrani Raita, were served to guests during the wedding.

Nearly six years ago, Mann and his first wife were divorced. Inderpreet Kaur, his ex-wife, and their kids live in the USA.

Earlier on March 16 of this year, the CM’s daughter Seerat Kaur Mann (21) and son Dilshan Mann (17) flew in from the US to witness his swearing-in ceremony.
