Rishi Sunak’s Daughter Performs Kuchipudi In UK

Rishi Sunak is the United Kingdom's 57th Prime Minister and the first person of Indian descent to assume the position.
On Friday, Anoushka Sunak, the daughter of UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, played Kuchipudi alongside several youngsters in London.
The nine-year-performance old’s was part of the ‘Rang’- International Kuchipudi Dance Festival 2022, the UK’s largest inclusive inter-generational celebration of this dance genre.
The concert featured close to 100 artists ranging in age from 4 to 85 years old, including live musicians, senior modern dance artists (65+ years performance ensemble), a wheelchair dancer with learning difficulties, and foreign bursary students from Natarang Group, Poland.
Anoushka’s mother, Akshata Murty, the daughter of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy, as well as Rishi Sunak’s parents, attended the dancing event.

The previous Indian-origin chancellor has defied convention by returning to the smaller flat above 10 Downing Street, which is traditionally reserved for the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
“We felt it would be wonderful for him (Chancellor Jeremy Hunt) to have that little of extra room,” Sunak explained.
Sunak, at 42, is the youngest British Prime Minister in 200 years. He is the first Hindu to hold the highest position in the country, and his desk is adorned with a Ganesha statue.
