Mansa Police file 1850-page charge sheet in Sidhu Moosewala murder case

On Friday, the Mansa police filed an 1850-page charge sheet in the high-profile Sidhu Moosewala murder case in Mansa court. The charge sheet names 24 people who were involved in the murder, including masterminds and shooters.

The charge sheet names 20 arrested suspects, including mastermind Lawrence Bishnoi, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, Saraj Minto, Manpreet Singh Manna, Manpreet Bhao, Prabhdeep Singh Babbi, Sandeep Singh Kekra, Baldev Singh, Pawan Bishnoi, Manu Dagar, Naseeb, Charanjit Singh Chetan, Priyavrat, Ankit Sersa, Keshav Kumar, Manmohan Mohna, Kashish, Deepak, Sachin Bhiwani and Arshad Khan.

Aside from them, police have included the names of four other suspects who are still absconding in the case. These include the main accused Goldy Brar, Sachin Thapan, Anmol (the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi), and Lipin Nehra. They are believed to be hiding abroad, according to police.

The charge sheet also includes the names of two shooters, Jagroop Roopa and Manpreet Manna, who were killed in a police encounter in Amritsar.

On May 29, singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala was killed in Punjab’s Mansa district. Sidhu Moose Wala was killed a day after the state government reduced his security protection. The attack also injured his cousin and a friend who were in the jeep with him.
