Gautam Gambhir’s Shocking Influence On Shubman Gill’s Vice Captaincy Appointment In Asia Cup: Report

Gambhir claimed that the Indian cricket had to groom a person who could become a captain in the future. The support he gave Gill played an important role, swaying the pendulum in the direction of providing a formal leadership position to the young opener. Asia Cup Opportunity for Gill in T20Is

The captain of India Test team, Gill, will make a comeback in T20I. He is likely to play in Asia Cup XI in the UAE between September 9 to 28. This made sure that Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had had a stellar England tour, could not get a spot in the squad.
