India’s cricket team received a massive reward from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) following their thrilling win over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final. The BCCI announced a prize of Rs 21 crore for the players, coaches, support staff, and team officials for their exceptional performance in the tournament.
The final, played at Dubai International Stadium, was a tense and high-stakes encounter. Chasing a target of 147 runs, India managed to secure victory by five wickets, thrilling fans across the nation.
The win marked India’s record-extending ninth Asia Cup title and came after remarkable performances by several key players. Tilak Varma played a brilliant innings of 69 not out, while Shivam Dube contributed a quick 33 runs off just 22 balls. Rinku Singh finished the match in style, hitting the winning runs.
The BCCI confirmed that the Rs 21 crore prize money would be fairly distributed among all members of the team, including players, coaching staff, support personnel, and officials. The announcement was seen as a recognition of the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that went into India’s Asia Cup campaign.
