Sheezan Mohammed Khan, the accused in late TV star Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case, was brought before the Vasai court on Sunday by Waliv police.

Sheezan was detained after a charge of abetment to suicide under Section 306 of the IPC was filed against him. Tunisha and Sheezan co-starred in Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. She was discovered dead on the set of the TV show on Saturday. Sheezan’s sister and lawyer were spotted today at the Waliv police station, but they made no remark.

Later, Sheezan was seen being led into the car by police officers as they drove him to Vasai court.

Tunisha was discovered dead on the set of a TV show. According to Waliv Police, they obtained information that the actress went to the bathroom after the tea break, and when she did not return, the police smashed open the door and discovered that she had hung herself.

However, police found no suicide note at the scene.

Tunisha’s claimed extreme move, which took her life, may have been motivated by her split with Sheezan, according to police.
