Nandamuri Padmaja, Daughter-In-Law Of Legendary NTR Passes Away At 73 Leaving A Lasting Legacy

The Nandamuri family has been hit with something they never expected, mourning the loss of their dear Padmaja, wife of Nandamuri Jayakrishna, who passed away in the early hours of today. She was 73 years old.

As heard Padmaja was keeping unwell since quite sometime and was having severe breathing issues. She was taken under medical surveillance by top doctors but her body couldn’t fight it anymore.

As soon as The Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and  BJP Leader Daggubati Purandeswari  heard the news they left to pay respects to the Nandamuri family.

Nandamuri Padmaja was never someone who needed to chase the spotlight, it was always on her. She was the kind of woman whose presence said everything, even in silence. The wife of Nandamuri Jayakrishna, son of the legendary NTR.  Padmaja was the daughter in law of the most respectable families and she held her place in the Nandamuri family with quiet strength and dignity. 

Born into the politically powerful Daggubati family, with her brother Daggubati Venkateswara Rao being a senior political leader, Padmaja knew what it meant to live under the spotlight and yet she stayed grounded. She was connected to two of the most powerful families in Andhra Pradesh,  The Nandamuris and the Daggubatis. 

Yet no soft synonyms are enough to define her, she was kind and warm despite all the power and respect she carried with her.

To those who knew her personally, she was more than just “Jayakrishna’s wife” or “NTR’s daughter-in-law.” She was a gentle anchor, who always held the family together on and off screen.

She was also a proud mother to Nandamuri Chaitanya Krishna, who’s now making his own name in the film industry and it is not very hard to tell from where he got his charm and respect and the feeling to always stay grounded .

Padmaja didn’t live loudly, but she lived meaningfully. And for the people who loved her, her absence will be loud in all the quiet places she used to fill.
