Apoorva Mukhija and Utsav Dahiya’s ongoing public feud
Viral Video: Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as Rebel Kid, is currently a part of yet another controversy that screams till what extent she can go to get her views and popularity.
The controversy or more of a blame involves her ex-boyfriend, Utsav Dahiya. Utsav has come forward accusing Apoorva of fabricating stories about their past relationship, which ended earlier this year in January 2023. He claims that she has painted him as a cheater and abuser for nothing more than a few views, in his caption he mentioned, “Ab agar koi aur bakwaas kari toh main seedha receipts nikalunga”
In response to these accusations, Utsav released a song titled “Cute Little Red Flags,” which directly refers to what Apporva says in the starting of her video. The lyrics reveal his frustration, with lines like, “I asked why you called me disgusting in front of the world, you said baby, this is all just business for me.” Through the song, he warns about the dangers of spreading false stories, emphasizing that truth doesn’t need a large audience to stand strong, there is a much larger and real world outside social media and its high time one should realise that.
He also claimed how Apporva and her friends have bashed his name in the public with nothing more than just false allegations. The song he made has his side of the story and he might have not used any names but it was quite certain whom he was talking about. He started the songs by calling her Jhoothi (liar) and more than just a song it was a subtle warning to stop with all the lies and grow up. You can’t or more likely should not be one playing with a person’s feelings and more importantly his character.
This drama is just one part of a series of public disagreements surrounding Apoorva. Recently, fellow creator Sufi Motiwala distanced himself from her, expressing disappointment over her lack of accountability and the harassment from her followers. Despite requests for Apoorva to address these concerns, Sufi has said she showed little regard for the harm caused.
So far, Apoorva has remained silent amid these allegations and the growing fallout, leaving many to wonder how she will respond. The situation has clearly struck a nerve in the digital content community, highlighting the messy and emotional consequences that often come with mixing personal lives and public personas online.
