Modi’s Journey of Good Governance: From Crisis to Confidence

Shri Narendra Modi, who has been “the biggest victim of political intolerance and untouchability”, has wiped out the feudal madness of political lynching and under his dynamic leadership, the first non-Congress Government in the history of Indian democracy has entered into its third consecutive term, that too without any “Congress’ remote or support”. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi-led Government is successfully taking forward the glorious journey of good governance with continuity, stability and credibility. The earlier non-Congress Governments either fell prey to deviousness of the Congress or could not be repeated after one term because the Congress’ philosophy and principle is “power for family and creating a tower of trouble for others.” The Congress-led clad companions always want a remote-controlled Government “either on rotation, dictation or deputation”. After tested, trusted governance skills in Gujarat, Prime Minister Shri Modi’s good governance journey at the Centre from 2014 to 2025 has been full of crises, problems, challenges, imaginary confusion of fear and illusion created by the “feudal clan”. Shri Modi’s “determination to development” and “commitment to performance” has made India a credible global brand of good governance by defeating all the crises. Today, India is witnessing “Amrit Kaal of Sanatan and good governance”. Inclusive development, omnipresent empowerment has created a strong environment of development with trust. Revolutionary and visionary economic, cultural, social, educational, administrative, electoral, health, agricultural reforms under the able leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi have made him a “Global Hero of Ground Zero”. Once again, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has made the glorious history of India, the world’s oldest civilization and largest democracy, a certified global brand of good governance, and has strengthened the mantra of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” and demolished the “dynasty’s deceptive drive to denigrate the democracy”. Under the leadership of Modi Ji, India continues to move forward on the path of a strong, prosperous and secure economy by overcoming all kinds of crises and global shocks in the world. The main reason for India’s economic stability even during the turmoil around the world is the successful good governance full of stability under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi and “promotion of modern science along with preservation of spiritual heritage”, which has proved that democracy can successfully achieve the goal of inclusive empowerment with the resolve of Sanatan Sanskar and good governance. About India, which was the world’s largest economy in the 17th century, authentic economic historian Angus Maddison says that “India was the richest country and prosperous economy in the world in the 17th century. During this period, India’s share in the global economy was about one-fourth”. Not only this, the Indus Valley Civilization is the world’s first known example of human-urban development and planning. The planned structure of urban planning, roads, water supply, drainage, transport and civic amenities, medical care and human development of the developed cities of that period such as Harappa, Lothal, Mohenjodaro and Rakhigarhi is still a source of world studies. The production percentage of the world’s leading countries in 1750 AD is a source of inspiration for today’s India, which has the largest youth population in the world. In 1750 AD, while Britain’s share in global production was 1.9 percent, Germany’s 2.9, France’s 4.0, Italy’s 2.4, Russia’s 5.0, America’s 0.1, Japan’s 3.8, India’s share in global production was 24.5 percent. The basic mantra of India’s development story was the preservation and promotion of advanced and inclusive economic system and spiritual power, which Modi Ji has successfully taken forward with the lesson and message of “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah: Sarve Santu Niramaya” and “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”. Today, once again under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, India is proving that “democracy can deliver with dignity and development”. According to world’s renowned agencies like Fitch Ratings, Moody’s, despite global economic uncertainties, India will remain the world’s fastest growing economy. IMF and World Bank have estimated India’s growth rate to be 6.7 percent. Shri Narendra Modi’s “Journey of Good Governance” as the head of an elected government has been nothing less than “Crown of Thorns”. Be it the Gujarat earthquake or the Corona crisis or the current economic and political global turmoil, Shri Narendra Modi has always turned a disaster into an opportunity. Shri Narendra Modi’s role of leading from the front during a calamity has proved “Jab hausla bana liya unchi udaan ka, fir dekhna fizool hai qad aasman ka...” (when one is determined to achieve great things, the obstacles or perceived limitations like the height of the sky become insignificant). During the Corona pandemic, Prime Minister Shri Modi led the fight against this pandemic from the front just like a true leader. He has played a proactive role to mitigate the challenges that face a vast and populous country like India with its federal structure of governance and administration. In the current economic and political turmoil also, Prime Minister Shri Modi’s effective and dynamic leadership, performance, hard work and better management of resources has ensured that the problems of the common people were mitigated to the maximum during these very difficult times. The Modi Government has infused new energy into the journey of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. The government is steering India towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy. The government is making rapid advances in its commitment to reform, perform, and transform. The guiding mantra of the Modi Government is “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” and its goal is the creation of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. Development is truly meaningful when its benefits reach the person standing at the last rung of society. This is the essence of Antyodaya, to which the Modi Government has been unwaveringly committed. Initiatives like the construction of about 12 crore toilets under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan; 10 crore free LPG connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana; free ration for 80 crore needy citizens; GST; disbursal of more than Rs 41,000 crore under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to crores of farmers; more than 1 crore “Lakhpati Didis” – due to such efforts, 25 crore people have overcome poverty and are moving forward in life. Initiatives like Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Startup India, Stand-Up India, and Digital India have created numerous employment opportunities for the youth. In the past two years, the Modi Government has provided a record 10 lakh permanent government jobs. Prime Minister Shri Modi is the person who bows his head in the temple of democracy and holds the Constitution close to his heart and is taking forward the inclusive journey of good governance. Modi Ji has replaced the “political prevarication of phony seculars” with his “priority to equitable development with trust”. Shri Modi has laid a strong foundation of prosperity through “Iqbal (authority), Imaan (integrity) and Insaaf (justice)”. Amid the ongoing global turmoil, Shri Modi has become a ‘trouble-shooter’.
