Bihar Elections 2025 Top Highlights:
-The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) achieved a landslide victory, winning more than 200 seats out of 243 constituencies.
-Tejashwi Yadav, the Chief Ministerial face of the Opposition’s Mahagathbandhan, has won his family stronghold, Raghopur, after a day-long, see-saw battle with the NDA candidate. Eventually, the RJD leader won by a margin of 11,000 seats.
-BJP’s Maithili Thakur, who fought from Alinagar, secured a win by over 11,700 votes. The 25-year-old became the youngest MLA to be elected to the Bihar assembly.
-Mahua election result: Tej Pratap Yadav loses, LJP(RV)’s Sanjay Kumar Singh wins by nearly 45,000 votes.
