Chinese smartphone manufacturing company Xiaomi is all-set to launch the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G in India as the company has confirmed the launch schedule of the handset. The company has also revealed the design and major specifications of the upcoming device. The device will be packed with a massive battery and octa core Snapdragon processor.

Redmi Note 15 SE features and specification
The handset is likely to feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of 3,200 nits. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by the octa core Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset; this is the same chipset used in the standard Redmi Note 15 5G model. The company also claims 48 months of lag free performance for the phone with a 10 per cent GPU boost and 30 per cent CPU boost.
In terms of optics, the rear panel of the device features a dual camera setup housed inside a squircle shaped camera module offering a a 50MP of MasterPixel primary sensor which would be able to record 4K videos whereas the details regarding the secondary camera and front camera for selfie and video calling is under suspense.
The device will be backed with a bigger 5,800mAh battery supported by 45W wired charging. The device will be available in three colour options: Carbon Black, Crimson Reserve (a shade of Red), and Frosted White.
Redmi Note 15 SE 5G Launch date
The company has confirmed through its X account and also launched a dedicated microsite on popular e-commerce platform Flipkart confirming the date of launch for Redmi Note 15 SE 5G, the phone will be launched on 2nd April in India via Flipkart.
The teaser describes that the phone will be a slim device with a thickness of 7.35mm and will feature a leather like a textured back panel.
However, other details and specifications regarding the phone consisting of pricing and storage variant will be revealed during the launch event on 2nd April 2026.
