Ameesha Patel revealed that the choreographer-filmmaker used to scold and abuse her and co-star Hrithik Roshan during Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai shoot
Ameesha Patel and Hrithik Roshan first appeared together in the film “Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai” back in 2000. That movie didn’t just do well; it blew up the box office and turned both actors into overnight sensations.
Most of the unforgettable dance numbers from the film, including the title track, were choreographed by Farah Khan, who’s kind of legendary in her own right.
Recently, Ameesha and Farah crossed paths again in a video that’s been making the rounds. This time, it was for Farah’s vlog, where she stopped by Ameesha’s place in Mumbai along with her longtime cook, Dilip.
During their chat, Ameesha shared an old story about how Farah used to lay into her and Hrithik back when they were shooting the film, scolding them pretty harshly to get the steps right.
Ameesha revealed, “Hum logon ko Kaho Na Pyaar Hai ke time par, Hrithik aur mujhe jo maa behen ki gaaliyan milti thi. Aur hum log ko daant daant ke jo sikhaate the, I kid you not.
Dilip joked about Farah scolding him, and Ameesha jumped in, saying Farah was just as tough on her and Hrithik during the movie. “Back when we were shooting Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Hrithik and I used to get yelled at all the time,” she laughed. Farah, never one to let things slide, shot back that she only ever scolded Ameesha, not Hrithik, “I never yelled at Hrithik, only at you!” she teased.
Later in the vlog, the conversation moved to the kitchen, where Farah showed Ameesha how to use a grinder while making Thai curry paste.
Before Farah could give her gifts to Ameesha at the end of the visit, Ameesha surprised her first, a thoughtful gesture involving a Prada perfume box. Farah was touched, joking that other celebrity guests should take notes: “This is the latest Prada perfume. So sweet of you. Other celebs, pay attention—you should be gifting me like this too!”
Somewhere in the middle of all this, Ameesha casually mentioned that she owns somewhere between 300 and 400 luxury bags, not counting her clutches and belt bags.
Farah even pointed out a cupboard in the house filled with Birkin bags, which for the unversed, sometimes cost up to Rs 2-3 crore each.
