JNVST Class 6 Phase 2 Result 2026 Declared at navodaya.gov.in: Direct Link to Check Selection List, Scorecard and Admission Details

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the results of JNVST Class 6 Phase 2 2026 for the students who wanted to get admission in Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya in their respective states. The candidates who appeared for the test can now check their results on official websites. The result was published on May 22, 2026 and includes the names of students being shortlisted for admission in 6th class in Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya for the year 2026-27. The entrance exam was conducted in two phases this year having lakhs of students appearing from different states and districts.

Where can students check the JNVST Class 6 Phase 2 result 2026

Students will be able to view their result online in official NVS portals ,  navodaya.gov.in and cbseitms.nic.in. In order to check the score card they need to type roll number and date of birth in login window.

The result page provides the important details like the student’s name, roll number, category, district, marks scored and qualifying status. Apart from online, the selection list also has been published off line at the respective Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya, District Magistrate Branch, District Education Officer’s Branches and regional NVS centres.

In what way the JNVST 2026 exam was conducted

The Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for the 6th class admission was conducted in two phases in offline mode. Phase 1 has been conducted on December 13, 2025, and phase II on April 11, 2026.

More than 20 lakh students had appeared in the examination this year, NVS officials have said. The result of phase I was announced earlier on March 17, 2026. The entrance exam is held once a year in order to offer admission to talented students, particularly from the rural areas of India, in Navodaya Vidyalaya.

What happens after JNVST Class 6 result announcement

The candidates, whose names are found in selection list, need to follow the admission procedures and submit necessary documents at their respective allotted schools. The admission will be done as per reservation norms laid down by the Government of India. Seats are reserved for rural children, girls, OBC, SC, ST and Divyang.

Further, the NVS has informed that after the date of admission, the selected students will receive confirmation through SMS or speed post from the respective Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya principal. Students and parents are requested to keep visiting the official website and notice board of the respective school for additional information regarding admission and document verification.
