On August 11, the Supreme Court ordered to round up all stray dogs from Delhi’s residential areas and confine them in shelters within six to eight weeks and not to release them into public spaces again. This sparked a massive row as animal lovers started protesting against the order, demanding that the plea be taken back as there are no proper shelters for dogs in the city.

Yes, you heard that right, this actor is the father of 116 dogs, and his love for them is on another level, as he owns a property for them, and not only this, he even has separate rooms for each one of them.

Yes, you guessed it right, this actor is none other than Mithun Chakraborty, one of the iconic stars in the Bollywood industry.

Mithun Chakraborty has a series of blockbuster hit movies like Taqdeer Ka Badshah, Swarag Se Sunder, Housefull 2, OMG – Oh My God!, and many more. The actor owned a luxury farmhouse in Mud Island of approximately one and s half acres for his 116 dogs. According to reports, this lavish property is worth Rs 45 crores.

The specialty of this luxurious farmhouse worth Rs 45 crores, is not only the price, but also that it has separate rooms for each dog. Everything from air conditioners to custom-made beds is available in it. A whole team is deployed to take care of all these dogs, which not only gives them food on time, but also bathes them and takes them for a walk every day. These 116 dogs are not pets, but are a part of Mithun Da’s family.


Not Only Mithun Chakraborty His Family Is Also Dog Lover

In one of the interviews with ETimes, Mithun Chakraborty’s daughter-in-law and actress Madalsa Sharma had revealed that he loves dogs very much. When the family lived in Ooty and Coimbatore, they owned a dozones of dogs who lived with them. Now in Mumbai, the family lived with 16 different breeds of dogs. In which they have a different section and a team to take care of them.
