
Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushman Khurana's Thama Teaser Unleashes Sarvashaktishaali Villain
The teaser of Thama just released on August 19, 2025, sending waves through Bollywood with promises of an eerie new villain. Thama is a blend of romance, horror and comedy, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. You can’t miss this trailer!
At 11:11 AM IST, the teaser finally unleashed the villain, claimed to be the most powerful in Maddock’s supernatural saga-Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya.
The teaser dropped with the caption, “Na darr kabhi itna shaktishaali tha, aur na pyaar kabhi itna BLOODY!🦇 Brace yourself this Diwali to witness the first love story in the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe. Step into the World of #Thama, a cinematic experience unlike anything you’ve seen before, storming into cinemas worldwide.”
Again, the malignant voiceover of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his dialogue, ” Kya hua ruk kyun gaye,” stole the show. The 1.49 minute long clip was a roller coaster of adventure and spine chilling plot. From Malaika’s dance to Rashmika and Ayushmann’s lip lock, the teaser was a hot serve. Fans are already going crazy over the peak chemistry of the leads and Nawazuddin’s villian arc.
Thama presents Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok, “Insaaniyat ki aakhri umeed” and Rashmika Mandanna as Tadaka, “Roshni ki ek hi pehli kiran. Paresh Rawal as Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Yakshasan, “Andhere Ka Badshah.” The cast is slapped hard with mind-blowing teaser.
The teaser promises Maddock’s “bloody love story” that intertwines unrequited love with supernatural thrills. Set to release alongside Kartik Aaryan’s untitled project, Thama looks all set for a grand release around Diwali 2025. With hits from Maddock like Stree 2 and Munjya, Thama is all set to redefine the horror-comedy landscape of Bollywood.
