In contrast, physical attractiveness, while still valued, tends to be seen more as a “luxury” rather than a core requirement for long-term relationships. This study emphasizes the growing importance of deeper emotional qualities over purely physical traits in modern romantic preferences.

The respect one demands in a reltioship most certainly cannot be bought now with an expensive gift.
