The sudden and unexpected death of young actor Hari Murali has caused the Malayalam film community to enter a period of intense grief.

The 27-year-old died on March 12, 2026, at his residence located in Payyanur, Kannur. Hari Murali became known to audiences mainly because of his strong performance as a child actor, whereas he later changed his career to work in film production as a technical expert.

The local police have started their first inquiry into his death but initial findings indicate that he passed away peacefully after living a life that used to attract attention from the movie industry.

Hari Murali Cinematic Journey and Versatile Acting Profile

The film industry first saw Hari Murali at age four when he started working in television serials, but his acting career truly began after he appeared in his first movie role for the Lal Jose film Rasikan.

His impressive skills as a child performer were displayed through his work in approximately 50 films throughout his career. His performance as a young actor showed his ability to perform emotional scenes with confidence in both Annan Thambi, which starred Mammootty, and Madambi, which featured Mohanlal.

He achieved early success in his career, but he dedicated time to his educational work, from which he took a break before making a special appearance in Amar Akbar Antony.
