‘A Lot To Build On’: Aiden Markram Reflects On Lessons From South Africa’s 30 Run Loss To India

Aiden Markram, the captain of South Africa, stated that the team will benefit from this experience prior to the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 after losing the fifth and final Twenty20 International against India at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Friday by 30 runs.

Makram emphasised that there isn’t always a rigid batting order in the shortest format at the post-match presentation. “A difficult defeat. Team India defeated South Africa by 30 runs and won the five-match Twenty20 International series 3-1 because to outstanding performances from Hardik Pandya, Tilak Varma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Varun Chakaravarthy. India has now won eight straight Twenty20 International series since 2023.
