Leader Movie Review: Legend Saravanan’s Major Comeback Impresses in Action-Packed Entertainer, First Half Faces Criticism, Fans Praise Second Half and Climax

Leader Movie Review: Leader, starring Legend Saravanan, has hit theatres on April 3 and is getting mixed reactions from the audience. Directed by Durai Senthilkumar, the film marks Saravanan’s big comeback after his debut and presents him in a full-on action role. 

Viewers are praising the action scenes, especially in the second half and climax, which have turned out to be the major highlights of the film. However, many feel that the first half is slow and takes time to build the story. Overall, the Leader movie is being seen as a mass entertainer that works better in parts especially for fans of action films.

Leader is seen as a film that mixes action, emotions, and some social themes. Because f the positive response from film personalities and the teaser and trailer, there are good expectations that it may perform well at the box office. 

The movie also has a social and political angle with ideas about public wlefare and the responsibilities of a leader included in the story. So its is not just an action film but also tries to deliver a meaningful message.

Some twists work really well, but after a point it becomes overstuffed and some twists seem very forced and unnecessary making things lil tiring. Nonetheless I would say its a win for Durai SenthilKumar as a director. He is promising for sure. Overall this film is an above average watch imo which works here and there but still could have been better !”

Leader Movie Story 

Leader is set in the port city of Thoothukudi, where the main character works as a car mechanic in a dock controlled by gangsters. The story shows his strong beliefs and his fights against the villain, with plenty of action scenes. A flashback also reveals his tough past and explains why he is at the dock.

The film stars Legend Saravanan along with Andrea Jeremiah, Shaam, Lal, and Payal Rajput.
