IndiGo Flight Bomb Threat: A bomb threat has been received at Lucknow airport after an IndiGo flight that was preparing to take off for Delhi got a security alert. When the plane was halted before takeoff, it created panic among passengers who were later safely deboarded. Meanwhile, security agencies launched a detailed checking process and inspections at the airport.

Delhi to Lucknow IndiGo Flight Receives Bomb Threat

The Delhi-bound IndiGo flight 6E2111 was all set to take off from Lucknow at 10:45, carrying around 180 passengers on board. But ahead of departure, a handwritten note on a tissue paper was found inside one of the aircraft’s lavatories, which was seen as a bomb threat. 

Cabin crew informed the Air Traffic Control (ATC) and airport officials about the note and asked them to qickly take proper action. After the safety procedures were performed all passengers were deboarded and moved to a secure area. Later, the aircraft went through a detailed inspection. 

Though after the full search and investigation, officials confirmed that the bomb threat was fake and there was no suspicious item on the plane. 

IndiGo Flight Bomb Threat: Recent Bomb Threat at Kannur International Airport 

Delhi- Lucknow IndiGo flight bomb threat came a day after a security scare at Kannur International Airport. In which on Wednesday, a note was found inside the lavatory of a Mumbai-Kannur IndiGo flight which was first seen as a bomb threat so the situation immediately triggered an emergency response. 

The note was discovered in a waste bin after the aircraft landed at 3:20 pm. The cabin crew immediately informed Air Traffic Control (ATC) and airport officials to take appropriate measures on time. After that, the plane was shifted to an isolation bay for safety checks. 

Even bomb disposal teams along with the dog squad, carried out a thorough inspection of the aircraft but they found nothing. Later, police said the note was not a bomb threat which had been misread by cabin crew members.
