The president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, JP Nadda, slammed Kerala’s CPI-M-led Left administration on Monday, claiming that the state is “becoming a hub of terrorism and fringe elements” and that “communal tensions are rising.”

Nadda said that the Pinarayi Vijayan government is corrupt when he opened the BJP district office in Thycaud and spoke at a district-level gathering of booth presidents and in charges in Kowdiar. “Corruption permeates every level of the Keralan administration. What could be more sad about the government in that state when even the CM office falls under the purview of corruption? This is how Kerala is being destroyed and ruined by the LDF administration “he said.

“Kerala is developing a reputation as a haven for extremists and terrorists. Life is not safe, and the common people do not feel secure. Community strife is becoming worse. The left-wing government’s covert backing for offenders is nothing more than state-sponsored lawlessness ” he added.

Nadda claimed that the BJP is an organised, cadre-based party with a sizable following that is ideologically consistent.

He claimed that PM Modi is doing everything possible to improve every aspect of society.

“We are fortunate to be a part of the BJP since no other political party has an ideology that predates Jana Sangh, which was founded in 1950. Our position on Article 370 reflects how our ideology is being put into practise. Even though we are committed to our country, we never disregard the aspirations of the people in the region. We are a party founded on the values of humanity and social service, not merely a political one “he said.

According to him, the BJP government has always been pro-poor and has done all in its power to help the underprivileged.

“PM Modi launched the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, under which 5 kg of wheat/rice and 1 kg of pulses were distributed to every eligible individual, to prevent people from going hungry during the epidemic.”

“The administration is pro-active and responsive, as seen by the rescue effort during the Ukraine War. Numerous students from India were stranded in the area of hostilities and were safely returned to their homes.”

He said that the new party office is an infrastructure and that “you need to install software” in this hardware. “The karyakartas we use are programmes. Use this workplace as a Sanskar Kendra, please. You must offer the karyakartas sanskar through this office “.

He claimed that Kerala was being caught in a debt trap.

“Because of the LDF government’s policies, there is a lack of financial discipline. I regret to inform you that the CM office is also associated with corruption in this administration.

In addition to corruption, there is nepotism in university appointments since CM allies are hired. The CM office, which is corrupt, is being protected at the expense of the Lokayukta’s authority.”

Nadda stated that a sizeable sum of money is being invested to strengthen Kerala’s network of National Highways in order to improve connectivity throughout the state.

“Since the BJP is the largest political party, we consider all factors, including the party’s size, scope, and skill. In order to effectively serve mankind, society, and the people of Kerala, we must be well-equipped and knowledgeable about what can be done “he added.
